Welcome to JBJ and Rock Creek Belgians!

2007 brought on many changes at JBJ Belgians. My father and I were introduced to Aaron Mosher and family of Rock Creek Belgians from Prophetstown, IL. After many discussions Aaron and I decided the best way to reach our goal of competing for the top spot in the Belgian Mare hitch classes was to join forces. The crew of friends and family which follow the horses around is simply amazing. We could have never accomplished what we have without them. Thank you so much for all your help and support.

In 2010 we brought Cargill on as a sponsor. The feeding program recommended by Abby Keegan (Cargill’s Equine Nutrena Specalist) has not only raised our horses energy levels but it was the first time since I have been showing we did not have a sick horse throughout show season. Thank you Ms. Keegan and the Cargill Team

The Belgian Horse business is simply about family and friends. In today’s day and age it is easy to get caught up in the fast pace life throws at us and the horses offer us an opportunity to slow down and spend quality time with family & friends. Aaron and I come from a farming background where horses were an integral part of our families everyday life. The stories my Grandfather used to tell wasn’t about the places he had been but about a couple horses he called Mark & Dugan. I can always remember him telling me to always work hard, respect the people you model your life around and become the best you can at whatever you put your heart in too. When I lost my Grandfather in 2000 I lost my best friend. We must move on the best we can so I will continue to honor him as Aaron and I continue on our quest.

We look forward to the 2011 show season to spend time with our families and friends once again. Please let us know if you will be in the area as we would love to show you our girls.

Thanks for stopping by

Jim and Aaron
